We are proud to announce the appointment of Nettitude’s founding CEO Rowland Johnson on to the CREST Executive Board.

CREST, the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers, held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 30 January 2014. CREST, one of the leading cyber assurance bodies in the UK has more than 40 members delivering penetration testing, incident response and security architecture services.

Rowland commented: “CREST has become synonymous with high levels of expertize within the cyber assurance and incident response industry. Through electing new executives, CREST continues to evolve and strengthen.

"With cyber becoming a mainstream conversation in the boardroom, the CREST brand provides business leaders with confidence that they are working with an infosecurity company that is at the top of its game.”

Rowland, who founded cyber security and risk management consultancy Nettitude in 2003, has been an active member of CREST since 2010 and involved in infosecurity since the mid-90s.

Historically, CREST focused heavily on the penetration testing sector, however in 2013, it launched two new streams based around security architecture services and security incident response services. Nettitude is fully accredited in every area of infosecurity that CREST covers.
