Leading IT security firm, Nettitude Ltd (www.nettitude.co.uk), hosted its annual technology and karting event at the Daytona Race Circuit and Conference Centre at Milton Keynes this week.
The day was well attended, and supported by security experts Cisco Systems and Tripwire Inc, who each presented their latest products and services surrounding the topical subjects of FIM, Logging and Web & Mail Security.
Delegates were then treated to a 2.5-hour endurance karting race in which teams competitively fought to take home the coveted 1st prize award. This year’s chequered flag went to the 2010 defending champions from Team IOSH, with Team Babcock taking second place and a combined team from Broker Direct and Blatchford in third.
Nettitude’s Sales Director Martin Watts said: “Well done to all of the teams. It is easy to see why this is event is so popular, the sporting element of the day brings a welcome balance to the serious business of IT security. Yet at the same time the technical seminar provides delegates with an opportunity to catch-up on the latest products and services available to the marketplace.”
