Nettitude (www.nettitude.co.uk) hosted a PCI seminar in conjunction with the PCI Council, and security partners nuBridges and Commidea. The event took place on Tuesday 26th October at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham, at the National Exhibtion Centre (NEC). With pressure mounting on Merchants to become PCI compliant, IT security provider Nettitude hosted an exclusive seminar with keynote speaker Jeremy King, the new European Director of the PCI Security Council (PCI SSC). Fresh from the PCI Community Meeting in Barcelona, Jeremy updated delegates on the new versions of the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Payment Application-Data Security Standard (PA DSS), as well as providing information on key Council initiatives which are relevant to enforcing credit card security in the UK. Leading PCI technology providers Commidea and nuBridges presented the latest security solutions available to the marketplace, including in-depth discussion on End-2-End Encryption and Tokenisation. Delegates had the opportunity to engage with all the speakers and asked the questions that will affect their business on achieving and maintaining compliancy.
